Mrs Hunt was looking for a design that was the perfect blend of calm and comfort for the whole family. With a spacious room to work with, she wanted to make sure every corner was optimised.
The Project
Designed for practicality and comfort, this office and snug space creates a serene atmosphere, ideal for work and leisure.
The minimalist L-shaped desk offers plenty of workspace while seamlessly blending into the built-in cabinetry, perfect for an uncluttered, productive environment. The custom-built storage, finished in a subtle matte, includes spacious closed cabinets for hidden storage and open shelving features, whilst the Natural Davos Oak shelves bring warmth and texture into the space.
This design balances the needs of a workspace with the welcoming feel of home, suitable for focused activities and bringing the family together.
Details
Mrs Hunt sought a versatile area that could serve as a home office and a snug area to unwind when required. To further elevate the room’s luxurious and welcoming feel, the soothing deep teal wall provides a stunning contrast against the soft cream cabinetry, and the taupe grey doors with stunning gold bar handles beautifully complement the rest of the décor. The mustard yellow sofa, set against the tonal navy wall, perfectly accentuates the cupboard doors, highlighting their best features, and the plush cream chair with gold accents harmonises with the circular glass table to add a modern touch.
This well-considered space was designed to maximise comfort, style, and efficiency.
