At Ream Interiors, we recognise that crafting beautiful new kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and home interiors involves using quite a lot of timber. While we build all our cabinets from sustainable, FSC-certified wood, we always strive to go above and beyond in everything we do. Thus, we resolved to be proactive in giving back to the environment, and what better way to do so than by launching an initiative that benefits our own community and surroundings too?
We have partnered with Medway Council to donate a number of trees for every interior we sell. These trees are then planted throughout the local area by a team of volunteers. Here's what we contribute depending on your project...

The Numbers Are In - We Planted An Impressive 900 Trees In 2023!
Thanks to your unwavering support, we were able to plant a whopping 900 trees last year!
In 2022, we donated 150 trees to Medway Council. With the help of a team of volunteers, these trees were planted in January in the beautiful Riverside Country Park, where they will help the surrounding wildlife to thrive.
In 2023, we decided to double down on our tree-planting efforts, planting an impressive 10 trees for every kitchen sold! We're delighted to announce that we absolutely smashed our target and are truly proud to be transforming the local landscape, one kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom at a time.
We're continuing our tree-planting initiative in 2024, and are confident this year will prove even more successful!
Our mission goes beyond mere tree planting. With Medway Council's support, we were able to select particular species of trees that will enhance the local ecosystem. The tree species selected included hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, alder buckthorn, and buckthorn. Buckthorns are particularly beneficial to the brimstone butterfly.
