The result is a light, contemporary scheme balanced with statement materials. Crisp Porcelain cabinetry sits against bold Nero Marquina quartz for a timeless look with a modern edge.

The Client’s Brief
The client wanted a timeless, open-plan kitchen that delivered both style and practicality. They asked for a bright, sociable space with strong visual impact and thoughtful details throughout. A central island, durable worktops, and a seamless link to the dining area were top priorities.
The Project
Lucy brought the vision to life using the Hunton shaker door in Porcelain, combining classic framed styling with a clean, contemporary edge. To elevate the look, she paired the soft cabinetry with dramatic Nero Marquina quartz worktops, whose deep black surface and striking white veining add instant luxury and contrast.
At the centre is a generous island that provides expansive workspace, integrated storage, and comfortable bar seating for relaxed gatherings. Natural light from skylights and garden-facing doors keeps the space bright and welcoming, while integrated AEG appliances sit neatly within tall cabinetry to maintain crisp, uninterrupted lines.
Details
Practicality is built in at every level. Large pan drawers, discreet internal drawers, pull-out spice racks, and integrated bin systems keep daily essentials organised and close to hand. Matte black handles and a trio of pendants introduce modern contrast, while warm wood-effect flooring grounds the design and ties the whole room together. The result is an elegant, hard-working kitchen tailored for contemporary family life.
