The Client’s Brief

Our client wanted a kitchen that felt characterful and full of personality while remaining highly practical for everyday use. They were drawn to a classic in-frame look but wanted to introduce bold colour, pattern and statement appliances to create a space that felt truly individual. Practical storage, premium appliances and a strong visual connection between finishes were all key priorities.

The Project

This Hunton Porcelain kitchen combines understated cabinetry with bold focal points. The Marmalade Rayburn sits at the centre of the design and is paired with a Liquorice gloss extractor hood to introduce contrast. Baltic Brown granite worktops provide a durable and practical surface while helping to ground the overall colour palette.

Pattern and texture are introduced through Fired Earth Nina Campbell Ronda and Seville Coral Aqua wall tiles, which create a strong visual feature across the working areas. A clear glass splashback has been used to protect the tiles without detracting from their detail. Fired Earth Arcilla Rosa terracotta floor tiles and Tempest eggshell wall colour add warmth and balance to the scheme.

Functionality has been carefully integrated throughout the kitchen. A Shaws Bowland apron fronted sink is positioned beneath the window and paired with a Quooker 5 in 1 tap providing boiling, sparkling and chilled filtered water. Storage includes corner pull outs and spice racks, while appliances such as the Smeg black dishwasher and a hidden integrated washing machine maintain a clean and uncluttered layout.
