The Client’s Brief
The Gohil family had recently renovated their home and when it came to their kitchen, they wanted a design with a welcoming and cosy feel that combined contemporary sleekness. As a busy family, they sought a space where they could work, play & eat meals together. They were drawn to a neutral colour palette, with grey tiles to invigorate and white cabinets that are crisp and timeless and won’t go out of style.
The Project
This contemporary kitchen seamlessly combines elegance and functionality within a generously sized layout, featuring a colour scheme of crisp whites and soothing neutral greys, matched by a striking quartz base for the island. Classic shaker-style cabinets in the Aldana door range in porcelain complement the traditional family feel of the home, while cutting-edge appliances and durable stone worktops, ensure the kitchen caters to both daily family needs and entertaining occasions. The oven has two spice drawers on either side, designed by Lucy from Ream to make cooking so much easier! The addition of the stylish bronze Quooker tap also means the family have hot and cold running water at the touch of a button.
The central island serves as a focal point, doubling as a prep area and a casual dining space with its luxurious seating. Contemporary pendant lights illuminate the island, enhancing its allure. Every aspect is carefully chosen to provide a kitchen that’s as enjoyable to use as it is to behold, perfectly aligning with the vision of Mr and Mrs Gohil for a space that’s both spacious and welcoming.

Mr and Mrs Gohil are relishing the multitude of storage choices available in their recently renovated kitchen. The well-considered layout has given the family plenty of cabinetry, guaranteeing a specific spot for each utensil, plate, and kitchen gadget, elevating the kitchen’s efficiency and practicality. Much to Mrs Gohil’s pleasure, there remain unused drawers, showcasing the kitchen’s abundant and meticulously designed storage capability. This excess space provides the family with the freedom to accommodate future gadget and appliance purchases and upholds a tidy area to cook, work, and socialise.
