Mr and Mrs Herridge sought a contemporary kitchen that would truly impress and harmonise with their recent home extension. This impeccable kitchen design breathes new life into their living space. The sleek, handleless design in a soothing cashmere hue infuses warmth into the bold minimalist style. It finds perfect harmony with the inviting textured tones of the grey-limed oak Karndean flooring.
The Project
This sumptuous kitchen design’s soft and inviting atmosphere is created by the beautiful pristine matte cashmere finishes on the cabinetry, harmonising beautifully with the mirrored splashbacks. Our client adored the mirrored splashbacks, considering them the standout feature. The kitchen layout maximises every corner of the space, with abundant storage solutions to maintain a clean and clutter-free look. A charming bar area is thoughtfully nestled within the design—a feature treasured by Mr. and Mrs. Herridge.
The crowning jewel of this design is the marbled effect worktop. Its mesmerising pattern captured the attention of Mr and Mrs Herridge while browsing our showroom, who could not wait to add this statement décor to their design. This exceptional project is a fusion of textures and hues, accentuated by strategically placed spotlights within the ceiling and beneath the cabinetry, illuminating all the outstanding features.
Details
The AEG appliances, including the MaxiSense induction hob and canopy hood seamlessly meld into the aesthetics of this design, maintaining the flawless and warm interior. Sending immediate heat to whatever you place on it, the MaxiSense feature on the hob detects the size and shape of your pots and pans, sending heat directly to it.
Also taking centre stage in the design is the exquisite Caple Harlo tap in a lustrous copper finish, which complements the tantalising blend of textures and tones that define this project. Positioned elegantly in front of the window, providing a delightful viewpoint while tending to the dishes.

‘Ream was recommended to us by a friend. We’d seen lots of other kitchen suppliers, and all involved designing the kitchen primarily by ourselves and then hiring a fitter. Daunting. We were unsure what to expect when we visited the Gillingham showroom, but we were put at ease straight away. The showroom is stunning, and the staff were fantastic.’
