Our Client’s Brief
Storage and space, in general, were a real issue with the previous kitchen. Our Newington clients were looking for a design to transform their kitchen into a bright, welcoming and practical space that they would be proud to show off to friends and family.
The Project
The first thing we decided to do was brick off the window looking into the conservatory. This allowed us to rearrange the layout and introduce plenty of tall units for excellent storage. Mrs Van Der Straaten was concerned this might make the kitchen look even darker. However, the beautiful clean Porcelain colour scheme really helps reflect light throughout the room for a bright and spacious feel.
Details
Stunning granite worktops add a wonderful touch of luxury to the design, while the warm undertones help establish an inviting atmosphere. Simple shaker cabinetry with elegant silver handles brings a sense of character without compromising the clean, modern look. The Quooker Flex tap saves on valuable counter space and makes preparing hot drinks amazingly quick easy — perfect on a busy day.
Life After The Journey
Our clients were really impressed by the amount of storage we managed to introduce to their space and were delighted with the bright and airy feel. Mrs Van Der Straaten even used her AEG cashback reward to buy her favourite Le Creuset egg cups, which she had been lusting over for a while!
