The Client’s Brief
Seeking to enhance their home and elevate the kitchen, Mr and Mrs Wharton embarked on an upgrade journey where they converted two rooms into one. They wanted to maximise every inch of their new kitchen area to its fullest potential and create a large, welcoming area.
The Project
The first stage in this project was to transform the two rooms into one, giving Mr. and Mrs. Wharton more space. Deciding on Aldana cabinet doors in PTO Taupe Grey, a bespoke colour they loved, resulting in a timeless interpretation of the classic shaker-style kitchen. Their integration with the gold grain worktop radiates an air of sophistication, and also being inviting and welcoming, making it one of their favourite features.
Our design also prioritised optimal functionality for the couple, with a striking example of this being the placement of the Slide&Hide NEFF ovens. These have been cleverly placed for convenient accessibility as the door next to them goes into the garage so they can use the ovens without impacting on walking in and out of the room giving Mr. & Mrs. Wharton a kitchen that aligns with their requirements and lifestyles.
Details
Builder Fraser who installed the kitchen handcrafted intricate bespoke cuts at the bottom of the fridge and oven to give an aesthetic, yet functional vent space. Mr. and Mrs. Wharton were overjoyed with this accent as they didn’t want the metal vent to feature in the design.
Harmonising effortlessly with the light colour scheme of this kitchen, each element of this space has been thoughtfully selected to contribute to the room’s bright and spacious feel.

Incorporating classic kitchen aesthetics added a timeless touch, while the open layout created a welcoming environment tailored to the Whartons’ needs. Seeing the project come to life brought a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing we had created a space where they could make cherished memories and enjoy culinary pursuits for years ahead.”
